1. Who We Are
Path2Dream (KVK 97912565) is the controller for personal information processed through AI Clip Maker Studio unless we state otherwise in a separate agreement. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Path2Dream and AI Clip Maker Studio.
This Policy applies to clipmaker.studio, support communications, and any AI Clip Maker Studio product features that link to this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account and contact details, such as email address, authentication provider identifiers, terms acceptance status, plan, and settings.
- YouTube links you submit, project choices, creator preferences, prompts, manual edits, transcript corrections, feedback, and support messages.
- Payment and billing context, such as selected plan, subscription status, checkout and portal activity, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, and payment-related support requests. Payment card details are handled by Stripe.
Content processed by the Service
To generate clips, the Service processes public YouTube source videos that you ask us to process. This may include the submitted YouTube URL, source video metadata, downloaded video and audio, transcripts, captions, thumbnails, frames, visual analysis, scene metadata, generated scripts, generated clips, editing instructions, render settings, style choices, previews, downloads, and related outputs.
Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, operating system, IP address, referrer, pages visited, timestamps, and similar log data.
- Essential service telemetry, such as route labels, session funnel identifiers, event names, status and error categories, job and render identifiers, plan identifiers, style identifiers, duration or count values, and operational timestamps.
- Optional product analytics and advertising measurement, if you accept the relevant optional cookies or similar technologies. This may include Google Analytics events, page visits, scroll depth, navigation, product interaction events, Google Ads conversion measurement, Google signals, ads personalization, remarketing audiences, and advertising attribution if those features are enabled.
- Cookie and analytics data described in this Policy and our Cookie Policy.
Browser storage
The browser may store authentication session data, the cookie preference choice, a session funnel identifier, temporary auth context, pending-project capability data, workspace cache, billing cache, project cache, render job cache, caption style cache, and similar product state needed to operate the Service. Our Cookie Policy explains these technologies in more detail.
3. Public YouTube Source Content
V1 of the Service accepts public YouTube video URLs. Public source videos are different from private files uploaded directly by you. However, the fact that you submitted a specific public URL, the project linked to your account or browser session, your edits, your generated outputs, and your billing or download activity may still be information about your use of the Service.
You should submit only videos that you have the right to use for clip creation, editing, downloading, publishing, and monetization.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate the website, accounts, and video clipping features;
- process submitted YouTube links, public source videos, transcripts, captions, prompts, and editing preferences;
- generate scripts, clips, captions, previews, scores, downloads, and other requested outputs;
- send product notices, support replies, and administrative messages;
- record account context, terms acceptance, cookie choices, and billing status;
- run essential service telemetry for landing, authentication, project processing, rendering, downloads, and billing health;
- use optional product analytics, advertising measurement, conversion tracking, and remarketing only when you accept the relevant optional technologies;
- diagnose issues, protect security, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits;
- manage plans, credits, subscriptions, billing, refunds, and tax or accounting obligations;
- comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect rights and safety.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal information based on contract necessity, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations. Contract necessity includes account access, requested video processing, rendering, downloads, and billing. Legitimate interests include essential service telemetry, security, abuse prevention, debugging, support, and dispute handling. Consent applies to optional analytics, optional advertising features, and other optional choices where consent is required.
6. Analytics and Telemetry
Essential first-party service telemetry
We record essential first-party telemetry in our backend to monitor whether the Service is working. This includes the landing-to-auth, project creation, processing, rendering, download, checkout, portal, and Stripe webhook funnel. These events may be anonymous or, when a valid account session is present, attached to your account ID.
Essential telemetry uses a session funnel identifier and sanitized event data. It does not intentionally include raw YouTube URLs, email addresses, project titles, prompts, transcript text, script text, payment card details, OAuth tokens, pending-project capability tokens, or other raw user-authored content.
Optional Google Analytics and Google Advertising Features
Google Analytics is optional. The Google Analytics tag is loaded only after you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", Google Analytics is not loaded by our site for optional product analytics. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and no cookie choice has been stored, optional analytics stays off.
When optional analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may receive sanitized website and product events, such as page visits, button sources, route labels, auth and billing funnel events, render or download status events, scroll depth, navigation, browser and device information, referrer, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers. We do not intentionally send email addresses, payment details, video contents, full YouTube URLs, YouTube video IDs, project titles, prompts, transcript text, or script text to Google Analytics.
We may also enable Google Analytics Advertising Features, Google Ads conversion tracking, Google signals, ads personalization, linked Google Ads and Analytics reporting, remarketing audiences, and similar Google advertising measurement features. If enabled, these features may allow us and Google or other Google advertising services to use first-party identifiers, first-party cookies such as Google Analytics cookies, third-party cookies such as Google advertising cookies, and other Google identifiers together to measure ads, attribute conversions, understand cross-device or aggregate campaign performance, build or measure audiences, and show or optimize ads.
Where applicable law treats these advertising features as a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising, we will provide the required notice and opt-out choices before using those features for covered users. Google explains its practices in the Google Privacy Policy and provides information about privacy controls in Google Analytics.
You can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where supported, manage Google ads personalization in Google Ad Settings, or control cookies through browser settings.
8. International Transfers
We may process information in countries other than your own. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, data processing terms, or other transfer mechanisms recognized by applicable law.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain accounts, support users, improve and secure the Service, comply with law, and resolve disputes.
Account emails, authentication identifiers, terms acceptance records, billing records, and subscription records are kept while needed for account access, billing, accounting, support, security, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
Public YouTube source content, downloaded input files, generated scripts, transcripts, user edits, project data, previews, thumbnails, and rendered clips are kept while needed to provide requested features, maintain your account or project history, troubleshoot issues, enforce billing access, and support downloads. Rendered preview and full output videos do not currently have automatic expiration and may be retained until deletion, account cleanup, storage maintenance, or a future retention policy removes them.
You may request deletion of stored project data and media associated with you by emailing dimitree54@gmail.com. Include the email address used for your AI Clip Maker Studio account and, if possible, the project or video details you want removed. After we verify the request, we will delete or de-identify the related project records, stored source downloads, rendered previews, rendered output videos, thumbnails, transcripts, scripts, and other project media that we can reasonably identify, unless we need to retain limited information for billing, accounting, legal, security, abuse prevention, or dispute purposes.
Pending source data is temporary browser state. Your browser may temporarily store a submitted YouTube URL in session storage so the project can be created after you sign in and accept terms.
Essential telemetry, security logs, rate-limit records, backups, billing records, and legal records may be retained for longer where necessary for reliability, security, accounting, compliance, or dispute purposes. We may keep aggregated or de-identified statistics that no longer identify you.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or object to certain processing.
If a U.S. state privacy law applies to us and to your request, you may also have rights to know the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect, the categories of sources, the purposes of collection and disclosure, the categories of third parties involved, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out of sale or sharing where applicable, limit certain sensitive information uses where applicable, and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
You can request privacy help by emailing dimitree54@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
To request deletion of stored videos, rendered clips, project media, or other project data associated with your account, email dimitree54@gmail.com from the account email address or include the account email address in your request.
You can decline optional analytics in the cookie banner. You can also use browser controls to block or delete cookies and browser storage. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and no cookie choice has been stored, optional analytics stays off.
You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16 and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet service, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after an update means the updated Policy applies.
